Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 25, 2026
Maria D. Suarez, P.A. (“the Firm,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit mariadsuarezlaw.com (the “Website”) or contact the Firm through it, and how that information is used.
Information you choose to send us
The consultation request on this Website does not store your answers on our servers. When you complete it, it prepares an email in your own email application containing the information you entered (for example, your name, phone number, email address, type of matter, case status, the name of the opposing party for a conflict check, and a brief description). Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself. If you call or email the Firm directly, we receive the information you provide in that communication.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Website’s hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically processes basic technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. The Website does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are used.
Cookies
The Website does not set cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether the Firm can assist you.
- To perform conflict-of-interest checks required by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
- To operate, maintain, and protect the security of the Website.
- To comply with legal and professional obligations.
How information is shared
The Firm does not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers that help operate the Website or the Firm’s communications (such as hosting and email providers), when required by law, court order, or professional rules, or to protect the rights and safety of the Firm, its clients, or others.
Confidentiality and no attorney-client relationship
Contacting the Firm through this Website, by email, or by phone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Until the Firm has confirmed representation in writing, please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information. Email is not always a secure method of communication.
Data security and retention
The Website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. The Firm uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information it receives and keeps inquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law and professional rules. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. The Firm does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Website.
Links to other websites
The Website links to third-party sites, such as The Florida Bar, St. Thomas University, and Google. The Firm is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Your choices
You may ask the Firm to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, subject to legal and professional record-keeping obligations, by contacting the Firm using the details below.
